What Kind of Flowers Do We Grow?
8 rows of cut flowers: Celosia, Strawflower, Snagdragons, Statice, Mexican sunflowers, Centaurea, Bells of Ireland, and Gomphrea. Some of these varieties are past peak bloom for the season.
Zinnias/Cosmos: We have 1.5 acres of zinnias and cosmos planted. These fields will close at the end of August due to the drought we experienced in July - the field did not receive enough water to last until first frost.
Our sunflower maze will tentatively remain open through August 31st. We may be able to extend the season if we get some rain and cooler weather. This 2.5 acre field contains over 15 varieties of gorgeous sunflowers, including branching and pro-cut types.

IMPORTANT:
IF YOU ARE PICKING FLOWERS (a $12 cup or $50 bucket) there is NO admission charge - just the cost of your flowers. ***Please note that ONE admission is waived for each floral cup or bucket purchased. This means you can't purchase one flower cup to waive admission for a group of 10 people. Only one admission is waived per cup or bucket.
IF YOU ARE NOT PICKING and are just here to visit and/or take photos, admission pricing per person is listed above.
There is no additional photography fee, but all photographers and their clients must pay the admission listed above if they are not picking flowers.
Photo ops will be available in the fields - including our painted butterflies, “Blame It All On My Roots” truck, benches, and chairs.
Please be respectful of the farm, our staff and other patrons when visiting.
No pets allowed in the field. Service animals are permitted.
We provide shears for snipping but you are also welcome to bring your own.

If you have an ULTIMATE season pass, admission to the sunflower maze and flower fields is included in your pass, but cut flowers would be an additional fee. Thank you!
Flower Field Admission Pricing
Admission as of Sept 1st is waived. You will only pay for the price of any flowers you pick. Info below is no longer valid until next season.
Ages 0-2 are always free. The admission pricing below applies to all visitors ages 3+
August 3rd-August 31st (or until our sunflower maze closes) - Admission is $8 for all flower fields. This includes access to the u-cut patch, zinnias/cosmos, and sunflower maze.
U-cut flowers:
$12 for 24oz paper cup (fits about 12-14 stems)
$50 for a 9 inch Paper Bucket (fits about 55 stems)
September 1st update - the sunflower maze is now closed. Our cosmo field should remain open through first frost.
August 1st update- This year's sunflower season is going to look a little different, and we wanted to share why.
If you've visited before, you may notice that our sunflower maze is much shorter than in past years, and our zinnia field isn't as full and vibrant as we had hoped. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.
Most of Southwest Michigan is currently experiencing a severe drought. We haven't had meaningful rainfall in over a month, and every small storm that has come through has seemed to split apart or miss our farm entirely. As an agritourism farm, we rely on the weather more than most, and this year the lack of rain has taken a real toll on our flowers.
While our fields may not be picture perfect, they're still beautiful, and we'd love for you to come experience them with us. Every season tells a different story, and this one is a reminder of just how much farming depends on the weather.

Sunflower Field Update:
When Do Sunflowers Bloom?
After being planted, sunflowers can take up to 10-13 weeks to fully bloom. During this time a small bud will develop at the tip of the stem. Initially, the bud will be closed, but over time it will open up to reveal the bright golden petals underneath.
Once the sunflowers are in full bloom, they will display their vibrant colors for about 3 weeks. At this stage, they attract bees, butterflies, beetles and a variety of other tiny pollinators. They are attracted to its bright petals and sweet nectar.

How Many Types of Sunflowers Are There?
There are more than 70 different varieties of sunflowers! Our field will feature 15 of those species in a wide variety of sizes and colors; perfect for all photo opportunities, or to simply enjoy their beauty.
The sunflower colors will range from sunny yellow, to golden yellow, orange, and ruby red to bronze!
